What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture involves inserting very thin, metallic needles (sometimes in conjunction with electrical stimulation) on specific points of the body’s surface. The insertion of these needles influences the body’s systems by stimulating blood flow, the release of endorphins and the peripheral nervous system, among other effects.
